Next steps….literally
I’ve continued the “diet lifestyle changes” that I’ve needed to make with the Charlie 2.0 overhaul. It’s actually been pretty easy. I’ve made some easy changes like choosing the turkey burger over the beef burger and the side salad instead of the Fries/Rings. I’ve also found some great new (and old) foods that have made this transition enjoyable. For instance, I LOVE the Morningstar Chipolte Blackbean burger and I can’t get enough Hummus. I’m not kidding, I have it as a part of my meals or as a meal substitute about 5 times a week. Who’d ever thought that I would have found comfort in chick peas.
So the next step of my rehab has just started. I’m undertaking an exercise program to drop additional weight, drop the medicines, and drop the bad eating habits. Over the course of the next 12 weeks I plan to go from virtually zero exercise to some hard numbers of accomplishments. Think of it as feats of strength.
I’ve got some lofty goals that I’m setting for myself, but I think know it’s all necessary in order enjoy my life.
